The touch tank is home to crabs, sea urchins,
starfish and other water inhabitants awaiting a friendly pat on the head.
Children and adults too enjoy the hands on experience. |

In the lower level a cave boasts live turtle tanks, caiman, mineral exhibits,
and nocturnal animal displays. Aquariums depict life along the
the Neuse River.
Both levels exhibit a side variety of plants and animals indigenous to North
Carolina, including poisonous snakes, flying squirrels, bears, bobcats and
more. |
